3.10. Version Upgrades#

All the technology components that are part of the GTC platform, including Richie CMS, Open edX aspects and the underlying technology that power them, follow a regular cycle of software updates and bug fixes. The Open edX releases for example are typically made every six months. Each release is accompanied by a release announcement that describes the major features, bug fixes and other changes that are included in the release. The release cycle also includes a period of testing, review, feedback, and stabilization before the release is finalized.
